Well i went to a lurcher show 2 weeks ago and by the lurcher ring there was a very small cage with two greyhoundy looking pups stuffed in it, this was a baking hot day and they were in the direct sunlight with no water. I felt so sorry for them i just had to rescue one!

 

So i found the person selling them, i paid £95 for one and got a horse rope with him for a lead :thumbsup: I could have kicked myself for rescuing him, but i just couldn't leave without one and he is soo good looking. He was in terrible condition though, smelled strongly of urine and feaces, fleas were crawling on him, dehydrated, and when i wormed him :x He couldn't have been wormed at all in his whole life, hes 18 weeks old and now called Draco, he was apparantly called Blue but he didn't respond to it :-"

 

Dam: 3/4 Greyhound 1/4 border collie X 1/2 Deerhound 1/2 Greyhound

Sire: 1/2 Saluki 1/2 Greyhound X 1/2 Bull 1/2 Greyhound.

 

So he is: 9/16 Greyhound, 2/16 Deerhound, 2/16 Saluki, 2/16 Bull, 1/16 Border Collie!

Well done CG,i'm sure he'll fit in no bother with the rest of the tribe

 

 

Thanks andrea, he certainly has settled in, Hugo loves him, they're best of friends as theres only 2 weeks age difference.
