Fieldsports 155
maybe they should make ntrigger locks compulsory? OR to put another spanner in the works...I have loads of spanners...lol Compulsory licensing and security ? OK I will tell you's what I think ! Fact 1. To own a decent air gun ( gas ram or gas operated ) kitted up costs more than a licensed 22 including cabinet and license fee. Fact 2. People who are saying "what about the poor buggers that can't get a firearms license" are normally describing people that have an obvious reason why the local police would not issue one, be it criminal or medical grounds. Fact 3, Your getting more head of game any day with a licensed firearm ( eg: .22 rimmy ) than any airgun that falls below the limit of firearms licensing. Please do not think I am anti airgun or trying to be a tw@t, but in my eyes a gun is a gun and if they were on license the price of air powered rifles would either Drop to compete with rimmys or be phased out because folks could go out with a license and buy a rimmy for a "smidgen" of the price of a air gun and get far better results. NOW DON'T SHOUT AT ME FOR SAYING THAT its only my point of view. Whats your views on that ? Steve

I'll be getting my shotgun certificate in a couple of months. But in some cases airguns are better then air rifles. But fire arms certificates are harder to obtain, as you need a map of your permission, permission letters etc etc.
