HEDS 0 Posted October 3, 2009 Report Share Posted October 3, 2009 Id say a broom stick is a bit thick mate , they will be bulky to carry/a bit noisy when they clang against eachother/and a bit tough to stick into hard ground. I use straight hazel , 3/4 inch thick - with knots sanded down , and a pointy end . Cheap and practical !! Quote Link to post
