fishfish 17
not even that many triggers off the chesil this year, piss poor on the whole,i guess its been raped of all its worth,as a kid we would stop fishing when we had filled 2 buckets with mackerel andd that usually took an hour at worst. and january day sessions saw 10 or more codling. outdoors kid 1
i know exactly what you mean we used to catch mackrel by the bucket loads a couple of years ago, now you do well if you manage 40- 50. I have not had a single trigger this year or even a smooth hound some times we would have 4 or 5 hounds from the beach at night but this year not a single one all i can hope is it will improve over the winter and the cod might appear fingers crossed.
