was out this morning

so we headed off this morning about eight oclock.

the first warren we came to had about 12 holes so we netted them up had a smoke and then put the ferret in.

he was in for about five minutes and then appeared out of the other hole, this went on for a while but no rabbits so we moved on to another warren.

 

on the second there was 10 holes so again we netted the holes off waited a while and then put the ferret in.

not long after we had a bolter from an unnetted hole, covered it and waited.

then five minutes later we had out first ever rabbit in the net. he was a small one but a rabbit all the same. nothing for a while so decided to put the second ferret in just to give him a run and no sooner was he in till he sent the second rabbit running.

that was that warren.

we then moved on to 2 other small burrows but no bunnies and decided to call it a day.

quite happy with our 1st ever quarry.
