bri1970 22
exercise him ,then fat will turn to muscle which is healthlier then the storing of fat , just change his diet, dogs can loose weight due to dehydration aswel so always make sure you check the water dish is full :} since when does fat turn to muscle?fat is fat muscle is muscle, they dont change from one to the other. Its based on only one sample, done in the States (Georgia), does not say what animal the tripe comes from nor what is ITS normal diet.

J Darcy 5,871
At eleven months he is still a puppy, If he gets a balanced diet and plenty of exercise then he will be what he will be. Better to have him healthy than "Bulked".......
sandymere 8,263
At eleven months he is still a puppy, If he gets a balanced diet and plenty of exercise then he will be what he will be. Better to have him healthy than "Bulked"....... I'll second that, why bulk it's just more weight to run with. As for the tripe post the last bit "The white tripe that you find in the supermarket has been cleaned, scalded & bleached. It has almost no nutritional value for the canine" is rubbish the protein content etc will be almost the same as any one with knowledge of dietetics would know. Mr. S Mere member of the European Council of Canine Nutritionists. please note the is no profession of nutritionists so any one can claim to be one, to become a professional in this field you need to be a dietitian and this title has legal professional protection. Guest lavyheed
If he gets a balanced diet and plenty of exercise then he will be what he will be. Better to have him healthy than "Bulked"....... That's the things that he does get. Maybe the word bulked was a wrong choice of word to use. Heres a couple of pics, sorry for the quality it's from my phone. The lying down pic doesn't really show much. And as you say, maybe thats what he will be.
