scarred dogs

Recommended Posts

All dogs that are working to there full potencial :whistling: will pick up scars its inevetable, But some dogs show more than others, black dogs for instance always seem to look more marked up, where as a white dog will get away with it a bit more or a slighlty ruff coated dog it may be hardly noticed at all. So its hard to say really

i got a wee jrt here that has seen alot of earth work with me but she dont have many scares because shes smart mate, she knows how to work her quarry. every dog that works certain quarry will get marked up but a dog thats smashed to bits dont mean for one bit it sees more. also i got pics here with my lurcher with bits hanging off and being in a right mess but to look at him now you wouldnt know that. give your dogs the right treatment and iff there fit and healthy they will heal nicely unless your one of these who like to have a marked up dog. means nothing mate

think it depends on the colour and the effort they put in.

like someone said different colours show more and a dog that gives 110% will get scars from rabbiting even, hedges, stone, fences etc etc

kennel fights as well

I heard a lad at a show say once he couldn't wait for his dogs to get smashed up!! Like it was something to be proud of! What a w****r.

My dog probably gets more cuts running through things than he gets from his quarry, but hes white so like they've said in other posts, they dont show up much. Wich i am pleased about. atb
