Hepher 86
WAS'NT TAKING THE PISS, JUST DON'T SEE THE POINT IN GIVING A YOUNG DOG SOMETHING DEAD ON TOP OF THE GROUND WHEN THE INTENTION IS FOR IT TO BE A DOG THAT HUNTS LIVE QUARRY UNDERGROUND. JMO BUT I WOULD'NT LET A YOUNG DOG I'M BRINGING ON RAG AT SOMETHING ON TOP THAT WAS SHOT. I THINK A DOG SHOULD MEET IT'S QUARRY HEAD ON IN ORDER FOR IT TO LEARN EXACTLY WHAT IT IS THAT IT HAS TO DO, THEN WHEN THE DOG HAS DONE IT'S JOB AND QUARRY DISPATCHED SHOULD THE DOG GET IT'S REWARD AND A RAG AT IT'S FOE. AS I SAY JUST MY OPINION, YOU WOULD'NT GIVE A PUPPY A DEAD RAT WOULD YA? Quote Link to post
CO CHISE 330
well done pal, the pup has abit of fire in it for its age and i hope it makes the grade for what you want from it, BUT hepher has a very good point and im with him on this one, i prefer to allow a pup to see live quarry when its ready so it learn the ropes first hand cos it could just try to be a hero when it does come accross a live one and it mite just get a big shock each to there own thou, atb, Quote Link to post

johnnie deep dig 36
fair play bud, good luck with it Well done Give my pups a rag off a dead one every chance I get will do no harm mate. She should do you proud need you need to show her one behind the spade next mate. I've buried a dead on in an artificial earth in the past, let the pups have a rag of it first then bury it for them and let them find it to ground all good practice mate. You don't want the dog ragging a dead one then first time to ground gets a face full and knocks her confidence. Well done keep the good work up have a good season All the best Johnnie deep dig Quote Link to post
