kicked of shooting permission

Recommended Posts

This is what I would do............... ;)

Check the legality of the shooting situation, I.E distance from highway etc.

Then ring the police on the day of the intended shoot and register it with them as a vermin control session on behalf of Farmer X at 'Y' address...

Then when he is challenged, get them to radio it in to the control room!!

They will look pretty silly, plus he will have a record of authenticity ..

Matty

They would so hate him for that :clapper:

Always phone the police when your about to go shooting. Explain to them where your intending to shoot, how many of you, your vehicle details, and the times you will be going.

They will pass you a unique reference number. Keep this with you, and dont forget to ring them back with your URN to make them aware that you are leaving.

Always bring with you your FAC/Shotgun certs, letter of permission.

This SHOULD solve any problems when/if any nosey uneducated members of the public call in.

To be fair to your mate, not many police officers are trained in on the the hunting act, and rules and regs regarding firearms, public footpaths, the way of the countryside etc......

Bloody typical, the police get bored shitless up hear, i think they take every silly oppertunity to make bigger idiots out of them selves than they already are, i bet there not this bad in manchester & liverpool & london with AK's & Uzi's! The thing is not enough goes on round here apart from drug dealing & i think they like to get into the sweany mode and over react at lads out in the country side, it gives them practice to deal with what theyv been trained to deal with in the citys & towns. F*cking action men IMO :gunsmilie: :aikido: :hunter:
