adamthomas64 1
hi guys im currently looking to joining a rough shoot syndicate, the syndicate is a business there is one guy who obviously has the permission and he then charges £350 a year and there are about 8 slots available, ive spoke to him and he has lots of permissions all around the uk, where i will be able to shoot, you can obviously keep whatever you shoot, you can also lamp both fox and rabbit, he can also provide a mentor if needed for centrefire rifles, and if you wish to pay £750 a year you get both rough shooting and deer stalking ( this includes various estates around scotland ) again a mentor can be provided for the deer calibers too, my question is has any of you had experience with these kind of syndicates and what do you think about the price, the reason im looking to join a syndicate is that i have been looking for permission for my firearms licence for around a year now and am having no luck, so i thought this was i can start shooting whilst still looking for a permission of my own. Best regards Adam Edited September 26, 2009 by adamthomas64 Quote Link to post
roebuck220 80
You should try and speak to someone who is a member now or in the past, to find out what it is like, how much game etc. Quote Link to post

Mesarya 2
i have spoke to person who runs that organisation in the past,I was considering to join then changed mind due to had to travel few miles to get to nearest land.Currently I am a member of similar syndicate elsewhere only 20 min drive, the way I look at it, away from routine life for few hours, if you find anything to shoot anything considered as bonus. if you haven't got elsewhere to go and shoot like me then join at least once, then you make your own judgement.
