atuddy 179
Im not trying to spoil this thread but not many terrier & huntsman would want there s days work plastered all over a site like this All totally within the act .over a site like this??Accidents happen when trail hunting keep to the gamebird protection legally dispatched . Hounds marking to ground ain't illigal, the digging of a gamebird killer isn't either.Crack on lads and more like this post please Thats not the point I am trying to make I fully know what the laws are regarding working dogs as I do terrier work for a registered pack ...and know plenty of terriermen and I dont know any of them that would put pics on this site for obvious reasons just my opinion lads I understand exactly what you are saing mate. I am big and ugly and quite happy to stand up in front of anyone and admitt to what I love to do. I already stated as part-keeper to this 1300 acre farm I hadn't released any gamebirds this season but I do have a good wild bird stock that needs protecting not to mention the 1200 birds the son of estate has in pen close by. I am registered as terrierman with this pack under and learning the ropes from a very experienced and famous terrierman registered with two packs so any photo I take is approved by him first. We of course work within the law. The fork in the photo was taken at end of dig and was used to dig not to block. :clapper: Quote Link to post

adbirdy 14
Great post Stevie, really good read. My old fella went on a couple of digs many moons ago with some Irish chaps and they used heavy forks. My Dad said they could really shift some stuff, you don't see too many using them but they do have there uses obviously. Ade Quote Link to post
