samgreenwood 0
hi guys Target sports, bolton. Heard some rumors along the grape vine about target sports closing down not sure if it’s true or not but i haven’t been able to get through over the phone to them. good luck to who ever gets the building after them i was part of the team who re-modeled the inside and outside of the building when they first moved in and you would not believe some of the problem we was told to cover up, from cracks in brick work to subsidence, damp and dry rot. If anyone needs any more info where the problems are I could probably remember most of it. Quote Link to post
Strong Stuff 2,171
hi guys Target sports, bolton. Just looked and their website has changed: http://www.targetsports.co.uk/ It does explain on the new site what's happened. Established in 1984 Target Sports UK has grown to be one of the biggest Gun & Fieldsport retailers in the country. The company is still owned by the founder Mr Ian Kirby. Target Sports UK has won many awards from the fieldsports industry including best mail order company 5 years in succession, best gun shop & has also been highly commended. Over the years the retail shop has continued to go from strength to strength, moving three times to bigger premises. However, at the same time the mail order side of the business has also continued to grow & expand rapidly. As our mail order customers are now located worldwide & our online sales have continued to excellerate. We, like many companies before us have now become mail order only & have now moved to our purpose built offices & distribution centre which is located near Lanark in Scotland. This move has allowed us to enlarge our product range considerably. Now with dedicated offices & over 20,000 square feet of storage space, Target Sports is now ready to embark upon the new challenge for the future of the business, which will consist of importation, both retail & wholesale sales and developing new products specifically made for Target Sports UK.
