migmog 1
hi lads just a quick 1 bsa r10 bsa super 10 or airarms s410 which 1 and why ? cheers gary Iv got the s410 carbine its very well balanced & light. The magazine is a simple & reliable design i took it out last night for the first time and i was very impressed ! Cant realy say anything about the R10 apart from i dont like the look of the buddy bottle designes rifles and secondly its a BSA, iv had 4 BSA lightning XL's that all where all faulty in the end i exchanged it for an AA TX200 HC witch wasnt really a stalking rifle because when you cock it, it clicks 4 times hence everything took off before i got chance to put a pellet in it witch really got on my nerves so i sold it & got the s410. The scorpion T10 dosent come without its little problems either as it not that well balanced as the s410 and the magazine isnt that reliable, i had mine only a few days and the little rubber bands in the mag snapped rendering it usless till i got another & it dosnt always load when you cock it. In the end i put a bit of 3 in 1 oil in the magazine & this sorted the problem out but it still dosnt always load first time but not that often! Out of these 4 guns id rate them like this... XL 3/10... TX200 7/10... T10 8/10... S410 has got to be 10/10 try one out for youself you wont be disappointed Edited September 25, 2009 by migmog Quote Link to post

boerboel_1984 0
hi lads just a quick 1 bsa r10 bsa super 10 or airarms s410 which 1 and why ? cheers gary I owned an s410 a few years ago and it was very nice to shoulder and shoot and i held the r10 at the midland game fair last sunday. Its really nice looking and also feels very nice at the shoulder. I asked the guy about the problems it had and he listed them all and said they have been sorted now. I have been looking at guns in this range. I am pretty much set on the Weihrauch hw100 thumbhole carbine. I held bothe the standard length and carbine and the carbine seems far more balanced. I also fired the new (shrouded barrel) hw100 at the game fair on the 'spooky shoot'. I havent fired an air rifle for about 5 years and even then only a few times in my back garden and i didnt know what i was doing. But when i used the hw100 i was hitting all the targets, even far out. It was so nice to cock and shoot. The lady there to coach you thought i was a regular shooter! I think my perormance was a lot down to the gun! Quote Link to post
bedrock 16
S410 I loved my super10 but I hated the BSA mags there so unbelievably shit :11: If they changed the magazines I might consider the R10. atb bedrock Quote Link to post

Marksman 934
arent you adding the HW100 into the equation then....lol I'm more or less the same as the others....originally wanted a S410 as you know....but it was out of my price range at the time.... I'm happy with the Superten for now Darryl Quote Link to post

zini 1,939
I'd say go with what ever your heart really wants Gary. You must have a feeling within yourself for 1 gun over the others. Due to the design and manufacture of rifles and PCP’s these days all the guns will shoot more accurately than the shooter can use them no matter how good someone thinks that they can shoot. All the guns will have more shots than the shooter can carry the dead quarry. All the guns are top quality guns from top manufactures with high standards. I went with the BSA R10 because its what i felt would suit me the most and what i liked the look of the most. I wouldn’t say that the BSA R10 is the best though, that would be arrogant and foolish of me as ive never owned the other guns myself and as you know i don’t post what other people say just what my own experiences are and I know myself. All the guns have their own pro's and cons mate, but what is for sure is that all the guns will fill freezers with meat. Si. Quote Link to post
