I have a 23inch bitch she is 1/4 bull and just under 1/4 collie and jest over half grayhound she as been tested to the full over the years i am hoping to breed her to keep a bitch pup back for my self to keep the line going.i am first a lamping man but do like good all rounders.i would like a bitch of around the 24/25 inch. i have got a few dogs to watch this winnter that may be yoused to stud her.

I would breed to a good working greyhound. I dont see any reason to breed a dog bred like that to anything else. A good greyhound is about as good as it gets for all around catchin critters.

i had a good lamping grayhound years back and if i still had him i would defo yous him.i dont now any one that works grayhounds like lurchers to the point that you can say thay have been tested to thayer full us.if there are any id like to see some pics of them lads and some info would be good to

cheers

If I were in your position I would go for that minshaw dog of ASD's that's been stud a lot lately, he has been tested on the lamp.

Or Jim of moochers dog snipe, that's seen some lamp light and is still doing very well at 9.

i would use a dog that would make a lot of dogs look stupid , and could keep on running night after night ,season after season never mind how big or SMALL it was , or breed , after all ,its a proper lamper you want ,not a pet ;)

David, i often intend to breed, the bitch with whatever she is lacking. say if its speed then maybe to a greyhound or whipp/grey type. jaw maybe a 3/8 5/8 bullx will do the trick.stamina chuck abit of saluki.more brains maybe collie. etc etc.. whatever the bitch lacks, then put what she lacks in. :drink: Atb Sniper

well then mate. ya want to line a dog which will help your chance to throw a pup like the mother.something which is a good allrounder.maybe a collie/grey x bull/grey as you say. but if i was you, it would be a well bred bull/grey x saluki/grey one that is well tested i may add. keep me posted mate.
