johnbhoy 1
To be honest UNFIT i dont know how to take at all, bamboozled me,ive had pm's saying your a genuine bloke etc but with the amount of stuff people read from you its hard to believe, everytime i read all i can see is you making a point then argueing about your right and 30 others are wrong, come across betternext time!it just gets annoying ,when i can see things being written that is total rubbish ,when most of the time i have witnessed it for my self on more than the odd occasion , like i have said i put my money where my mouth is ,and i am willing to prove im write ,if any one wants to find out .and yes i might come across as a know it all, that is because i probably am when it comes to working lurchers , i have been taught by a better person than me ,so what would that make him ? you show me a lurcher with no bull thats as game as a bullx and has the same prey drive and ill show you a bullx that can do January hares mate! there aint many lurchers without a little bit of bull in them, because you cant beat bull for gameness!! game ,they might be but what i have seen that is about it . well whats a dog without gameness?? Nothing! a dog doesnt need to be game to catch a rabbit or a hare. all it needs is skill and speed and thats something the bull lacks Edited September 29, 2009 by johnbhoy Quote Link to post

bird 9,872
Well ive had [bullxs and collie xs bitza's] and ive said before all dogs did what i asked of them. With any lurcher what ever the x ,you good and crap.?? But as been said before, you [do] get [alot] of bullxs up for sale on here. Now 2 things here, [1] bad breeding, [2] young dogs started to early.??? And they are [ not] a new x,? seen some in late 70s. A mate had 1x [staffx grey] tug, and there is a few lads on here that seen this dog work. And he was 100% on what ever you put him on,he came from very good stuff, and was brought on[ right ] when younger. If you get [well bred] one bullxs are great lurchers. My old 3/8 collie 5/8 grey which i had in late 80s, would smash foxes for fun. Its the same with them, get a [good] colliexgrey and they will tackle anything. Maybe not a game as bullx, but feck me not far behind With any lurcher when you pick a pup, you need that bit of luck to pick a goodun. Blaze 3/8 collie 5/8 grey tackle anything, great dog. Bosun11 537
Good post Ray , think i've trod a similar path regarding the different crosses I've kept, i'll never decry the collie x, owned and seen enough good 'uns to know whats what, as you said, good and bad in all crosses but some feckers on here just get my back up, making sweeping statements without any knowlage or fact. Just read that idiots thred on his 8mnth old pup, standing there in his glowing white trainers and posting about dropped rabbits , nice lookin pup too, shame about the 'creetin' holding its lead!
