Paul in North Lincs 15
Bucket headed first cross bullies are quite simply a dog for the chavvy generation of hunters - the tracksuite and baseball cap midnight moochers that indiscriminently poach and pillage cats, reds and pigs all year round, Like most of these like minded idiots they are 'flash in the pan' enthusiast who get bored within 6 months, and sell them on inorder to pay for the latest x-box game and a 4 pack of diomand white. Unfortunatley its the dogs that suffer. Quote Link to post

But totally agree with the main generalisation. Edited September 25, 2009 by pitfurness Quote Link to post

pitfurness 2
wats the 1s uv seen like they killin 3s and 4s single handed in jan a take it not at all, but lets face it, if you want a hare dog, you would go for a salukix, not a bullx. all im saying is there are exeptions to every rule and ive seen some very fast bullx'. Also, I think most dogs would struggle with a fit, january hare. Especially given fair game, Dont you? Quote Link to post
LeeM 0
thats wat Im into hares and a first cross is not up to much a bit of bull is good but not to much Quote Link to post
pitfurness 2
thats wat Im into hares and a first cross is not up to much a bit of bull is good but not to much what do you run? at the end of the day, bull has always been the answer to getting a bit more gameness and toughness in a dog. so much in fact that i think you'll find that bull was put into the Greyhound a long time ago, thus resulting in the origin of the brindle coat many greyhounds carry. Tallyho 181
Bullx's are amazing, they just fall into the wrong hands sometimes . Quote Link to post
Guest robbie1
Bullx's are amazing, they just fall into the wrong hands sometimes . to true!!!!! some right dicks do have this cross and give them a bad name BUT alot of decent true dogmen do to and they make brilliant dogs in right hands. as for hares you cant say this or that cross is better because all fields and hares are different obviously a half x bull wouldnt match a half x saluki on huge fen lands but in small fields he would stand a chance of catching 1st but the fact is they are not bred for hares!!!!! each to there own is my sayin in life if your happy whats in your kennel then tell everyone else to feck right off!!!!!!!
