fenn trapped rabbits

i set a few fenns the other day,the ground was like iron and it took ages to dig out the beds, when i picked the first rabbit up i saw a fox looking at me from under some logs ,itried to take a snap but has i clicked ,he ducked ,i have snared a few rabbits in this spinney,but its a waste of time now as the foxs ,take or damage every one that you catch,the foxs had pulled one rabbit out of the set ,but not damaged it ,although it had caught the sun a bit,even so i took it home ,got its coat off ,rinsed it it salt water ,and dropped it off at cider Rons , for thirty five bob

Last time i used my fenn's i couldn't find two i thought they where stolen but it made more sense that a fox took them to feed cubs with the caught rabbit i walked the whole of the ground trying to find the den to see if i could find my traps but i never got them back .

peg the buggers down with a good steel peg and then they cant

They can and they did i put a good pin on set the trap on top of it and still lost two now i use earth anchors
