Hi

Though my account has the union jack i actually live in Australia incase there is any confusion. I haven't travelled much while fishing but have been up the coast of NSW. In Sydney using light line for Bream, Flathead and whiting works well with beach worms and berley. If you do some night fishing on a wharf or beach fishing (if in sydney try the mouth of the Hawkesbury) and you should get some tailor, trevally and if lucky a gummy shark. If you try hard you may catch a Mulloway (jewfish) These are fish that you catch at night and a prime spot is MooneyMooney bridge on a full MOONey! If you visit Coffs Harbour and go deepsea fishing you will catch LOADS! It's best too catch bait fish such as bonito etc so you can catch Dolphin fish, yellowtail Kingfish and Mowie. From Coffs harbour too Brisbane is a good Marlin region but i have never caught Marlin. For the Barramundi they are very keen fighters and considered a fish for the sport more than the table but they are delicious. Hope you have fun and hope this helps ;)
