Bit of a odd question but does anyone know of a good magazine for ferreters? The latest shooting times had a bit but I have only bought it once as I normally buy airgun world (my transition from airguns to ferrets was quite recent), cheers.

Shooting times seems to have gone up market recently. So ive started getting the countrymans weekly i find it a much better read, its more of a working mans mag.

Countrymans has been average for ages buy noticed it's got

a bit better last few weeks.

Ive looked and can`t find it anywhere. Maybe I might have subscribe. I don`t normally have time to read and that, but I bought the latest shooting times and it had 4 pages on ferreting and once I started reading I quite enjoyed it.

I`m in west wales, I`l have to have a good look tomorrow. Is there always ferret write ups in shooting times?

I would say the Countrymans weekly is a lot better for ferret articles than the ST.

 

The Nfr used to have a promotion on their website a while back,they sent you an old edition of the Countrymans to you free.

 

Might be worth checking that out.

Aye usually, it covers everything. Ferreting, lurchers, terriers, airguns, wildfowling, game shooting, gamekeeping, fishing.

Oh right il ave to ave a look. Do any of you guys know how to get rid of a mouse in a house, my dad has put loads of traps down but he`s not daft. My dad heard him fall down the cavity and run back up.
