Guest Nightwalker
I've got my eye on a Honda CR V, it's got to be a family motor as well as for Falconry etc, it'll only be use on farm track and fields, does anyone have any experience of them? For what you want I would have thought that a Subaru either a Legacy/Outback or Forester would be ideal and much better on and off road than a CRV Edited September 6, 2006 by Nightwalker

BLACKBOB 9
Not a patch on the mitsabushi warrior What you clapping for..? ..you obviously havent read up on the old warrior and navara stat's.. The warrior look's half ok with all the flash leather and silver stuff but what's it like when you need to use it . .for instance get it mucky or tow a heavy load.. ..ive a rough idea what the answer would be.. .. The navara is a basic work veichle not a gypo or a chav type piece of machinery and will blow the old mitsubishi's away all day long.. .. Millet Why would i have to read up on the stats Ive got a 2 yr old warrior which ive had from new and done the business with it on and off road and even embaraced some landy drivers, which ive also had 90 and 110. My mate had one of your cronks brand new and kept it for 8mths and shot it out, i had been in it with him and it was bloody noisey, The warrior is a work horse and i didnt buy if for anything else. It tows my 1.5ton mini digger with ease and you got the bonus of a seperate back from the cab for the smelly dogs :11: Its not brill on juice but if you buy one then you dont worry about consumption, Its no family vehicle and aint that comfy on long journeys at the end of the day its a glorified truck, and thats what its used for, Although you do get some funny looks when i climb out of it covered in muck bob
Guest Jane Russell
There's a good looking piece of transport. I'd like one too. I did have an RVR for a short while. I'd never buy a Mitsubishi again on the strength of that disaster Jane
Guest Jane Russell
I said it looks good. That pleases me. If the radio works, that pleases me too. Plus it's a nice colour The only bit of the RVR that went with any regularity was the head gasket I can't afford one of the above pictured; I have a Vectra so I can't see much point applying for Top Gear Jane
IanB 0
From what ive read of the last 2 post's you's seem very experienced people.. .. why dont you's apply for a position with the top gear squad . :11: .. NOT . :11: ..Just one more little point i have to mention.. and that is them L200 model's the warrior's and animal are as flat as a fart unless chipped so what's the point in that.. .. Millet There fast enough for what there designed for....look at the toyota hiluxs there even less power than a l200 until these new D4D engines came out....the l200's 2.5 engines are them same as the old style shogun/pajero engines..people seem to live with them... Millet your just a speed machine :11:

Guest JOEB
Err.....from what I can see of it, in the most extreme climates on earth, they will only use jap motors. By the way, I have a landrover , a very old Landrover JOEB

lucky 578
i've just bought a legacy turbo similar to this, the engines are as strong as an ox, plenty of room inside and they go like a rocket, ground clearance is the only problem i know of
