Gripper 1
people pay that much to call a fox in, i think ill stick to the squeeky bit out of a dog toy and keep my money for stuff worth buying Quote Link to post
wexford Pa 84
I wouldn pay that sort of money.. I just use a squealer i bought at a fair for long distance callin n then squeal em in wit my hand as they come 200-300 yards.. Ive also used calls downloaded to my fone but not to much success, they seemed to more wary of the call.. atb Pa Quote Link to post

Night Hunter 109
F.CK ME!!!! u wana be callin in golden foxes with diamonds round their ring piece with that mate!! £400!!! I only have the foxpro because it was bought as a gift and sent to me by someone who thought she was doing the right thing ......But i still had to pay the import tax before the courier would deliver it As i said i do still use the call that i have used for years with devastating results and i would not have bought the foxpro due to the cost but it does work in certain circumstances and because it is remote control it can be switched on /off,volume can be adjusted and you can select whatever call you like also you do not have to call the fox directly to where you are but to where you can shoot it safely and without it getting your scent,it has acounted for the demise of quite a few of the educated harder to get foxes.hence getting me more permissions. dogs-n-natives 1,182
A widgeon whistle is a cheap buy and if used right, very effective.... also there is the brass one that can go round the neck on a lanyard, ive never had one but they are good, and no worries if dropped from the mouth when lamping. I also have a small wooden long range call from Acme, cost about a fiver, its like a hare cry, and will often bring a fox in from way off on the open hill up here. I still prefer my hand for close in calling though. I have some good ones on my phone, and have had some good succes with the rabbit, hare and fawn distress sounds. Some are better than others though. Quote Link to post
