and even more to the truth your kids might even marry a muslim, be it white, pink, black ect.......

Now i know your a bit of a hippy dogooder mr arctic...of there again you might just be a muslim i dont know......but either way you need to accept the harsh truth is me ol china, some of us have been raised with some pride in our race and country and in turn have raised our own children with pride in our race and country............................i know for a 100 % fact that neither of my young uns ( not so young now ) would ever have shacked up with somebody of another race or religion.....just the same as i would never have......now you may see that as racist views....but to me thats just common sense...............folk like you are continually trying to mix people together who for any number of reasons do not want to mix together, then when they voice that perfectly natural opinion you label them " racist "................

You dont even see the irony in your own statement above.......it is my choice the same as it was my childrens choice....to stay within our own race...yes my children could have married a muslim, but if they lived 1000 years they wouldnt want to............now,is that wrong ?

actually dont answer i give up with folk like you,i just wanted to make a point that having pride in your skin colour your nationality and your everyday lifestyle and beliefs is not wrong.......if white english people choose to not mix with muslims or whoever else....then that is a choice anyone should be allowed to make without having some dogooding idiot shout " racist " !!

As for this stuff with ireland and ira etc etc.....i have no real understanding on all that and i understand how passionate some are about so will not comment....but.....if it came down to sharing a pint a pie and a chinwag with an irishman or a muslim i know who i would choose.......what have i got in common with a muslim who has been brought up to think everything i think is right is wrong and vice versa...............and again, thats just common sense not racism.

Anybody read about the French pulling down 'the jungle' recently? Hundreds of would be immigrants waiting to hop across the channel. Somalis, Afghans, etc. Why do they want to come here? Because 1) they know that the welfare system will not let then down, and 2) New Labours 'Multiculturalism' has allowed immigrants to form population pockets all over the UK, where they will be welcomed with open arms.

It's a time bomb. People think the race riots of recent years are bad enough, but that was 2nd & 3rd generation British born Asians, who's parents came here to contribute to British society, and actually cared about this country and it's traditions.

What's going to happen in 20 - 30 years time when the offspring of this new wave find something to kick off about? The people coming here now do not give a stuff about British society, it's rules, traditions and customs, so what are they going to pass off to their offspring apart from hate & bile?

We should adopt the French method when it comes to asylum seekers. Under French law, and asylum seekers must apply for asylum in the country they first entered the EU, and get shipped back there. Or up until recently, allowed to pass through France & on into Britain.

We live on an island FFS, there's only so much room...

you can just imagine their conversations when they reach calais......" well f**k it ahmed we,ve come this far and i aint walking all that way back....f**k it lets make a swim for it to that shithole its better than nothing "

Lol, you dont know anything about me, and you probably wont like me if you did, like i dont nowt about you than the next man.

"Folk like me" you say? Well i put alot into society me ol confused one. What do you do? How do you do it? why do you do it? Questions questions questions.

I was brought up in a very strict roman catholic family, no i dont attend church because i dont have time to nowadays. :D

I for one will not be dictating to my children that muslims and other ethnic minority are bad people. I'm sure when the time comes as they get older they will make their own decision and i will respect their decision. ;)

These debates have been and will always raise tempretures, angry opinions etc......

I for one have more important things to enjoy in life than to worry about something that will never change no matter how loud you shout, how many BNP members there are, it just will never happen.

:)

Had a conversation in a pub years ago with a young female student who was lecturing me on the disgraceful way we treated immigrants, legal and illegal. In the news that week it was reported that the coastguard had picked up two illegals trying to cross the channel on a oversized lilo, add to that the risks they were running trying to sneak through the tunnel stowing away on high speed trains etc. My question to her was, if we treat them so badly why do they continue to come here?, risking life and limb to make the final stage of the journey after having passed through lord only knows how many safe countries. Never got an answer from her, so perhaps Artic or Matt the Rat could offer an explanation.

Racism and prejudice is widely spread, and is present in all countries or societies around the World. Racism and prejudice is often expressed through distrust or contempt for people who are different from the majority. These differences can be of physical, cultural character, or just based on a different background, such as a foreign nationality.

It is a natural reaction for people to be suspicious about the things that are strange to them. Like i've said sometimes this suspicion turns into anger, frustration, or fear.

Everybody wants to feel safe and secure and to be in control. Yes?

You lose control when you are confronted with a situation that you don’t know, because you don’t know exactly how to handle it.

This lack of control causes people to be afraid of the unknown. People get scared in the dark because they don’t know what might happen to them. The dark makes people feel defenseless from the unknown and makes them imagine terrible things, for no reason at all.

It is the same thing that happens to some people when they encounter a person that they don’t know, they get scared, and they start to imagine terrible things about him or her.

This can be seen in the way many people look at immigrants. Many people don’t like them, because they are afraid that they will "steal" their jobs, live on social security and ruin their country.

These allegations are very far from the truth, as a matter of fact migrant workers often get the jobs that no other fcker would do, and the ones that receive welfare often receives it because they cannot get a job because of their color or cultural background.

The muslim immagrants that are now flooding into this country have no respect for us or our way of life.I did not believe this till i started work in a large factory and became the union rep and after representing some of them got to hear their side of the story why they choose this country over others.

And being the Union Rep, what were their views?

You had an important role and fair you must be.
