If i can give back to someone the enjoyment i have recieved from my time hunting with air rifles i certainly will.

 

Its good to share info and educate and be educated by the other members of our sport while passing on our experiences both good and bad.

 

We all have our weaknesses at something or other in our sport and noone can honestly say that they are perfect at shooting with their air rifle at all ranges and in any conditions.

 

By sharing info and nowledge we all become better

zini started the great north run 5min ( yes he was the 1st casualty ) into the run some foriegn lass tripped him up and 5hrs in casualty and somebad damage to his foot

In addition to Zini's chart, here's a few numbers that may be useful to people

 

 

.22 air rifle at a chronoed 11.6ftlbs @ 180 bar with Richter Optiks 3-9 x 50ILR Mildot

 

 

Zeroed at 30 yds using Crossman Premier pellets

Distances measured with tape at 5m intervals

 

 

 

15m - 1 mildot Holdunder

 

20m - 1 mildot Holdunder

 

25m - 0.5 mildot Holdunder

 

30m - 0.0 Zero

 

35m - 0.5 mildot holdover

 

40m - 1.5 mildot holdover

 

45m - 2.5 mildot holdover

 

50m - 3.0 mildot holdover

 

 

Please use as a rough guide...all you need to master now is the rangefinding

They're both spelled the same. One is a verb, one an adjective. Pronounced "elab-rut" - that's the adjective, meaning complex, intricate etc. Pronounced "elab-or-ate" - is the verb, meaning add detail, explain etc
