Strong Stuff 2,171
hi im looking to get a BSA ultra was wondering what your thoughts are on the gun? Loved mine, wish I'd kept it. I had 2, a single shot normal one, then a Bowkett tuned multi shot one, that was good for I think 150 shots and really really nice to fire. Excellent for using out of a vehicle Quote Link to post

Marksman 934
I wanted one myself till the guy at my local shop showed me the polava of the loading procedure, so that put me off them Each to their own thoughj mate, you might find it plausable for what you need Darryl Quote Link to post
SEAN3513 7
the loading procedure isnt to bad. one rear bolt to load the pellet and the front one to charge with air. once you have had one for a week or two loading is as quick as any other bolt action pcp. they are small, light and very accurate. cheers sean Quote Link to post
dogdigger 45
hi found mine easy to load in the day time ,but a bit fidly at night on the lamp but still a good light gun size was handy when driving around the land dogdigger Quote Link to post
aaronpigeonplucker 32
i tested a ultra and i found it tricky to load, pull the bolt, click the clicky thing down and push in the cocking thing. not my cup of tea but other people say different Quote Link to post
ogjimbob 0
I have an Ultra and an AirArms S400, both are single shot I don't find the Ultra any more awkward to load than the airarms , its horses for courses and the ease of cocking/decocking the MMC makes the Ultra a superb "walking around" rifle, the main difference would be shot count, however I have had my Ultra regulated, and get + full power shots, with less pumping as its a smaller tube the reason I have both is one is for HFT and the other for hunting (ultra .22) it is hard to fault either in my opinion.
