Been offered a yildiz side by side 410

immac condition inc 250 cartridges for £250.00

not an expert on 410s is this good value or could i do better with my £250

You could price them up at York Guns mate, I think they're about 350 new.

I'd shoot one of those, not a bother. Only ever picked one up, but liked the fact it was a proper sized sxs, that handled really nicely.

 

I don't have much good to say about the over and unders though, my brother-in-law has one, and is getting rid asap. Things break in it like the striker return springs and the titanium insert (on the standing breech) retaining screw just fecking disappeared. Also, the action body is such that it'll shoot loose after a short while.

 

I'd still like one of those 410 sxs's though.

The guy selling it is a diamond geezer ive only met him three times and hes lent it to me for a week.

Even gave me cartridges,

he dont live anywhere near me, in fact he dont know where i live, come to that i dont now where he lives, i met him at a clay shooting club, im not even a member, he must be off his head

They're made in Turkey, but they're good guns. I'd like one myself, but unless I see one at a rather reduced second-hand price I doubt I'll be able to for a while.

Just had a look at a new one (yildiz .410) in my local gun shop.... And bought it!!!

Decided against it after and went for a new fully shrouded 410 good fun and dosnt wake the neighbours

Picked up my new .410 Yildiz on Thursday. I bought this gun without seeing it or handling it, as I was so impressed by the 12g Yildiz I bought and also read a few good reports on the 410.

When I first saw it out of the box I fell in love with it. The gun is so beautifully made, slimline and light in weight (sounds like I`m talking about a woman here!!!)...

When I handled it, it felt "just right".

I took it out tonight and shot a couple of birds with it. It performance was excellent.

I paid $740 (Aussie Dollars) for it, and I believe it is worth every cent.

Anyone passing a gun shop should check this gun out and I`m quite sure you will at least like it if not love it!!! No seriosuly guys, check it out, you wont be disappointed.

The 12g I have is the you/O, and although that too is a great gun, the 410 is my favourite...
