A very painfull slow healing injury by all acounts. Sorry to be doom and gloom. Mate did it and was up and about within a few weeks rather than months that was expected. Just don't try to rush it. Long enough recovery not helped by him falling down the stairs and ripping the stitches Then he got caught by Plod driving (an automatic car).
