Myself and a few others have recently set up a young supporters group for our local hunt and we are wondering what sort of events, functions or trips to organise has anyone any expierience or advise thanks. Events such as ferret races are always good fun and family dog shows and stuff like that. As for an event you could do hunt the adult and all the participants have to find clues to track down the adult until they find them and capture them. What area are you in? rockwood.Y.S 0 Posted September 25, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 25, 2009 hi sorry for slow reply been away from comp. age range basically from day dot to sort of 25 but events would tend to be open to any one especially the parties ect. ye we had thought about holding a terrier and lurcher show incorperating things like ferret racing ect also kennels open days inviting pony clubs ect possibly gundog scurrys and someone mentioned lure coursing for lurchers.
