darrell jnr 16 Posted September 23, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 23, 2009 cheers lads..it,s in the hands of deben now, arthur carters people were good about it, personally me thinks it was battery,but still shouldnt of happened...we over the shock now..although got no locator at all now as it burnt both the mark 3 and mark 1 ..so cant get outr as money,s tight so replacing them ,s not looking good as yet... atb lads..darrell. Glad you're a bit more settled now. I see the deverstation fire causes all the time. Items can be replaced, people can't. Bet everybody's checking they don't leave batteries in anything after your experriance. Except smoke detectors of course!!! The only people who die in housefires are the ones without detectors or have removed batteries. Your local fire brigade will fit smoke detectors FREE OF CHARGE in your home. Good for them. Hopefully be able to source mk1 with insurance money. Free detectors have a 10 year battery that cannot be removed. Quote Link to post
darrell jnr 16 Posted September 29, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 29, 2009 hi lads just to let you all know received me locator back from deben today via arthur carter spokesperson (alison) very helpful lady igotta say lads deben didnt have to repair mark 3 but they did so am able to get back out in morning good stuff ..also arthurs people sent me free dvd which was very good of them...big thank you to deben and arthur carter espescially alison who handled it all for me...could of been bolloxed as i was nt insured..cheerss ..darrell.
