Simoman 110
I have just bought a telescopic sight for my air rifle but need help scoping it in. What distance would you recommend, the leaflet with the scope says 100 yards If I could group shots at 100 yards I'd be a happy man Quote Link to post
Guest The Shaman
If I could hit a target at 100 yards I'd be a very happy man :11: I'd say zero it in at about 30 yards. Hunting prey with an air rifle beyong 50 yards will not gaurantee a humane kill. That's only my opinion, there will be a few lads out there who can shoot damn fine who may zero theirs in a bit further out, but i'd stick with a distance your comfortable with. Quote Link to post

ChrisJones 7,975
I'm just over 6 foot tall but have one 12 inch stump and a 4ft left leg.....what now My advice would be to nip into the local carpentry emporium and ask them to knock you up a three foot stilt. You could simply slip this over your stump and carry on as normal. If you fancied having a crack at making one yourself I might be able to scan the plans I have here. I also have the number for a firm that make special perfomance pants for people who're challenged such as yourself. I can highly recommend the paisley variety but I think you can get them in Real Tree now. Quote Link to post
