snoopdog 1,256 Posted September 21, 2009 Report Share Posted September 21, 2009 me and a mate of here went for a shine but the odds where against us very still no wind at all ...the bunnies where out but we had to work pretty hard to get near them. alot of long slips were needed .....there wasnt a cloud in the sky and it was fairly light to with all the stars ....anyways we had a decent night ....the saluki x on the left of the pic has just come back from a serious tendon injury shes been of for four months so the lad took it steady with her ....she ran well and to the lads delight she held up well no sign of lamness ....we was going for forty tonight as the dogs need to be a bit fitter for bigger numbers ....but had problems with the lamp so we came up about eight short and called it a night .but both dogs did ok and had plenty left in the tank .....but all in all we had a good couple of hours.......nice little patern for tomo i thought i would go for a rabbit circle tonight... doxhope 2 Posted September 21, 2009 Report Share Posted September 21, 2009 You hit the nail on the head with one phrase, you had to work harder..this is the thing when you go out and the conditions arnt exactly text book..Ive never been put off by conditions, if its windy its windy, if its full moon I pray for some clouds to come over..probably the only thing to put us off is fog.
