Nice fish, very silver. Most the barbel in my local river are alot more golden brown.

had 2 last season 8lb and a 14lb while fishing for barbel......i think the ghostie came out near north muskham on the none tidal, so iam told but dont no if its true, but yes there are some nice carp in the trent seen two 20lb mirrors come out.

will make the trip up there oneday,when youve had a carp from a river. pond ones ,with names . just dont do it for me anymore .the first time i took my mate to a place on the thames he caught a 7lb barbel and a 20 n 24 lb commons ,hes hooked now and exploring the medway and beult in kent. tight lines
