Ferret finders

Could anyone please help me out here as Im new to the ferreting side of things.

 

I believe that ferret finders are now up to mark 3 correct ?

 

If I was to buy a mark 2 ferret finder second hand without collars, and I had to buy some new collars to work with it seperately, would theses have to be mark 2 ?

I would'nt buy a MK2, I'd go for a MK1 or MK3, I had a MK2 and did'nt rate it, it picked up to much interference

I recently switched to the Mk3 when my old Mk1 died on me. Once you remember the search and locate button needs switching ,it's a brilliant bit of kit.

 

I have would certainly recommend the Mk3 and i swore i would never get one,as i thought the mk1 was the mutts nuts.

the mk2 was purely a prototype for the mk3, dont waste your money on it, if its being offered to you cheap, there is a reason

I wouldn't buy the mk2 deben's bought the mk3 out so quickly there must have been loads of complaints

Ive found a copy of the deben mag lying about and they are only compatible with mk 2 collars.
