changing ferrets

hi all

can enyone please help i have been on holiday for a week and when i came back one of my ferrets has changed colour and has got thinner in fact i did not recconise her at first only by her temprement then i knew it was her what could have cused this and has enyone else experienced this type of thing

it could have a cold check its sh*t. or it could of missed you i know it sounds daft mine did the same when i went away for a week but they soon put the weight back on.

Was she fed on the same food when you were away? Maybe a diet change if somebody else was looking after her.

maybe urs died when you were away and whoever was looking after it tried to replace her with an "identical" one and just failed miserably

just a moult mate. oneof my jills went from just off white to almost a mustard colour after er first moult and another went from light to almost polecat in colour
