Well me an Lat ran our heat last night i no everybody who has ran there heat have already said it but the weather was terrible. No wind moons on its way back out an ground was like a pups car park.

 

The first run went to my dog picked it up well Good start. 1-0 to troy. Only problem is it was the only rabbit on the field. .

 

We walked to the next field over a little barbed wire fence on to stubble fields both dogs missed a couple the dogs was really struggling to cope with the ground we both decided to head back the van an go to a few cattle fields i no. There was a couple of rabbits on the first field Lats foxy missed an troy took another makin it 2-0 foxy missed another an Lat realised she didnt seem to be runnin right. Troy had another two runs on the grass field an picked both of them up. 4-0 TROY. . We both realised the grass fields where the way forward :11:

 

Off we went to another little spot i no an this is where Lat realised Foxy definatly wasnt herself troy picked another up makin it 5-0 an we closed on that.

 

Before we set off home Lat spotted a set of eyes the other side of a lightly ploughed field so we had a squeek an gave Troy a run dont no how he caught it an i think Lat was surprised also must have had near 300 yds on the dog Troy gained on it with every stride turned it once an hit it on the second turn. Wasnt the best of nights but atleast we had ago an the dogs had a few runs. .

 

I wish Lats foxy a speedy recovery an hope to see you again soon mate. . .
