desertdog 149
Found a good website for all your pest control needs, looks like a good all round service and comes with recommendations. Check it out; fieldviewpestcontrol.vpweb.co.uk
Matt 160
Looks good mate. Here's a hyperlink for anyone who wants a look without the bother of copying and pasting: fieldviewpestcontrol.vpweb.co.uk Couple of serious things missing though in my opinion: Insurance, no mention of liability insurance. Qualifications, you should list any qualifications you have so that you don't just look like someone who woke up one morning and decided to be a pestie. You could also join some of the trade organisations out there, NPTA, BPCA, CRRU, GBM, BTMR etc; some of which are free to join, and all of which include the use of a logo. Have you registered on google and the other search engines? Edited September 20, 2009 by Matt the Rat

Fenlander 0
good point matt, yes i am qualified, and yes there is insurance, i aint a wanna be. One other thing DD, there only appears one way of contacting you i.e via the customer list form. I would say that not having at least a phone number will put some people off? farlap 19
I think it's now a legal requirement to display the business address on a website as well......... i think only if you are selling stuff direct from the website...not sure if its just a service, where people are going to meet you face to face, that it is the same....but now 100% sure....thats just the way in interpreted it. Companies Act 2006 and Business Names Act 1985 Every UK company should list on its website: * its name; * its company registration number; * its place of registration; and * its registered office address. Sole traders and partnerships who carry on a business in the UK under a business name (very roughly, not the names of the trader/partners) must also make certain website disclosures: * in the case of a sole trader, the individual’s name; * in the case of a partnership, the name of each member of the partnership; * in either case, in relation to each person named, an address in the UK at which service of any document relating in any way to the business will be effective.
