hi all,

i am going to attempt to make my own ferret carrybox, as this is all the equipment i need for the moment.

 

would it be possible that some of you could give me a rough estimate on size please.

i want to make a double carrybox.

 

all i want is length by breadth by height.

Yes mate 8"X8"X17" long with separator in the center Para1

mine is 9x9x19 with a seperator and is ok for my two hobs but if i made another one i would make it a bit bigger, make sure you put in lots of holes for ventilation

i had a little ply left over from making the hutches so i put this together.

2ft L x 10" H x 10 W.

Are you going to stain or paint the box ?

i have just gave the outside a coat of Cuprinol wood stain and will give it another when ready.

i'm not going to do anything on the inside apart from bed it with hay.

Nice mate but i like a bow back box to stop it bouncing off and bruising my thigh in my old age

yeah i would have liked the bow back but my carpentry skill dont stretch that far. tho between two this will not be hard to carry.

Sorry mate I taught you wanted the measurements for a 2/4 ferret carry box.Not the measurements of a box to carry 2 Alsatians in a 4 toner.It would have been easer to put a 2 handles on your ferret court.Good luck anyway P1.
