LDR Vs Rabbit Mad Mic

Well i've just got in from running our heat, the night started with Mic winning the toss, he was alot quicker than me................ ..............so he nominated me to run first and on entering the first field set the tone for the evening...........Not a breath of wind was up and the rabbits were thin on the ground, even more so with stubble fields under foot....................... ..................but eventually we got a chance at a rabbit which Bruce missed................... .............anyway Mic then secured a one rabbit lead taking his first one out the seat nicely.............bruce thn managed to connect on his second attempt and the onto the next set of fields................We knew now that we were gonna have to take some long shots in order to get some game in the bags and Mic slipped a good -100 yards, his bitch was gaining on the rabbit, but it looked to be too much of a long slip, but she managed to pressure it off the hedge line and after a couple of turns made her catch........... .............Bruce was always one behind untill half time where he'd levelled the scores and i think this was the turning point of the night, with a couple of unlucky misses for both dogs, Bruce managed to creep into the lead with a 2 rabbit advantage..............Mics bitch managed to catch another one to bring him to within just one rabbit down, but with the shit conditions we ended the night with a score of 4-3 in favour of Bruce.................... ..................i think we only had 6 or 7 slips each which shows you just how bad the conditions were, but you can only run whats in front of you!!!!!

 

To top the night off we had the usual pics taken and i put me camera down to load the rabbits in the bag and fecking left it on the floor..................
