and by the way if yu are worried about the plod call them before you go and get a ref number from them and if any calls and reports you then they know you are there and will contact you just to make sure its still you in the arrea

Excellent right up and a couple of things i could relate to!

 

One of my permissions is a few fields near a by pass, so i have to be carefull where im shooting and make sure i dont aim towards the roads. The other week, i was walking around when a police car flew past on the by pass. Next minute, a police helicopter is hovering above me as im laying in the field waiting for bunnies to come out. Most unsettling. Luckily, it hovered for a while, then flew off, so whether or not it was after me i dont know!

 

Secondly, i got 1 bunny the other week, i stalked up on it using some hay bales as cover. It was very close, more than im used to, maybe 20 yards, so i aimed low, shot it, and it squeeled. I legged it over and got it, pulled its neck. Then when i checked, my pellet had actually gone through one ear, out the other side and through the other one! Pierced both its ears!!!!! It must have been the shock or something which startled it, to let me run up and grab it. Quite a strange shot really, never had that happen before!

 

 

 

Why dont you get a URN before you go out that way if anyone phones the rozzers they give you a call before they come out saves a shed load of bother!!

Thanks for the reminder, I've played up hell with the host provider, its been down since Sunday and they aint replied to my mails as of yet

 

 

As for ref numbers from the police, I walk past the local police station (its only a few hundred yards from me). I only have a mobile and ringing the 0845 number can have me on hold for over 30mins (its happened before more than once, I used to have to ring it almost daily where I worked). I call in at the 'station' but there's never anyone to answer the door (even though you can see em in the building!) also if someone does call 999 the ARU Always attend round here.

My mate Riff-Raff is on 1st name terms and has coffee with them almost weekly thanks to his neighbours and the bunny hugger who's house back onto his permission
