imo the whippet gets ripped up a bit easy in cover and thge extra pace isn't worth the hassel

second that my [bANNED TEXT] runs whippets and they tend to tear easily, plus you dont get the terrier heart either, wallop my bitch is headstrong aswell [bANNED TEXT],she came from a kennel late at 13 wks with minimal human contact, now shes more freindly over a week, but she will not come to us when called at all, pritty confusing, not sure wether shes been spoilt actually,

Just keep at it mate.... plenty of contact. I wouldn't have thought at 13 weeks shes spoilt. I'm sure she will come good. It's all a big change for the dog

Try putting the lead on her but not taking her anywhere just let her run round with it on. Also try and feed her with her lead on. im sure you will get there. The guy who you got her off never puts the dogs on a lead.

WHY is coulor so important????? And if i had the choice between a working whippet pup or a beddy/whippet i would go for the working whippet pup every time.atb dell
Its just my preference as that exstra pace can make the difference between a rabbit in the bag were i mooch. Then again if pure whippets wer not exstorsianate prices i would have one instead of my beddy/grey/whippet atb dell

Its not important bud just my preferance, and every one has favorite cross/breed, weather its for looks or attitude or how good they work, there all equally valid points. My dogs gonna be firstly a well loved family pet, as thats what comes first to me, then a worker, so everyone needs to be happy, (even if that involves :wallbash: )

I do like pure whippets though.

ive got a 35 yr old stubbern bitch lo

SNAP!!

Dont worry too much nailer, its still very early days, ya pups had a big change by the sound of it, id let her settle in a for a bit then im sure it will all fall in to place.

:clapper: exactly... nailer are you keeping her indoors or outside??? If shes indoors just spend plenty of time with her but letting her do her own thing. If she's outside let her in the kitchen so she can get used to you and the misses. then just put a bit of routine into her life like feed her at the same time, that sort of thing and as I said plenty of contact. She'll come good mate you'll see ;)

shes inside whallop, ive allways kept my dog-dogs inside doesnt make them any different i think,im just gonna give it time and like youve all said plenty of contact,i wanted to walk her earlier over the fields and just let her run,but she wont come back and they are big fields to chase a pup around, and she can move allready beleive me,i cant beleive how fast shes growing,if it comes together shell be bostin dog lads,
