Got some real rain yesterday, and i just couldnt hold myself back(the close season is long enough and i lost alot of time last year with the bitch having pups, so i was champing at the bit)it was warm and still, but i went anyway. Kiera having had the summer off was looking well but in truth was a bit soft, even though i had tried to keep her as fit as possible through the summer, well she ran like a dream, and at the end of the night, i was knackered she was knackered and a great night was had by both(its a hellish place i was lamping as there is only 1 drop off point on the way round and by the time we got there i had 26 rabbits on me back, a 20 amp battery round me neck and a lamp with a cam corder strapped to it, so i wasnt doing any land speed records lol) all in all Kiera caught 32, a new record for her by 1, just wish she and i had been a bit fitter as it was one of those nights where things went well, and it bodes well for the coming season, fingers crossed.

Looks like a good night mate well done,we had a trip out last night but after a short while we were caught out by the mist :cry:Just the way it goes sometimes but if i had a £ for everytime i set off with the dogs "weather fine no fog"then arrive at the detination for the pea souper to arrive i,de be doin ok.

Man i know exactly what you mean Dodger, used to go up to Peebleshire from cumbria to lamp, and used to hit some right pea soupers on the old Moffat road, was a right heart breaker.
