Which torch do you recommend mate. Got to be hard wearing and totally "grit/sand proof"...and not have silly weird batteries that no where sells!!....Cheers JD

LED LENSER P7, bright enough to lamp rabbits with (yes really) strong enough drop and chuck around, and it takes 4 AAA batteries that ASDA sell dead cheap.

I got one of those and the P17 (3 X D), forget Surefires mate, these are the bollocks.

I'd have shown you the other week if I'd known you were looking for one.

Meant to add that the link above is where I got mine, but from their ebay store.

i have the p7 mate, unbelievable beam on it,spot to flood in an instant,i think if you got the next one up you could run rabbits wid it easily, you could wid the p7 but only at a shorter distance,i have one of the head torches to good stuff it is.

Recieved my lensor P14 just last week, you wouldn't want anything bigger sizewise.. just about pocketable, quite a bright beam considering the small (39mmish i think) lense diameter, plenty of reach for a quick spin on the bunnys, takes x4 AA batterys (included), nice quick spot to flood option if you need it.. just wish the spot was a bit tighter, but thats probably me just being a bit fussy...

got mine from here.. http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/default.ph...EARCH&comp=

on the whole, a nice bit of kit.. i'll take some pics if i get round to it...
