J Darcy 5,871
Rather you than me mate!!! I have bad dreams about horses after one went mental and broke my firends arm as he slipped his lurcher! As a mad, crazy youngster we used to always jump on horses backs. We lived in a house adjoining some horse fields and a sly carrot would always bring the horses close enough for young JD to jump on like some kind of a young Indiana Jones! Those nags would go quite mental and tear off with me hanging from their mane. I would'nt dream of doing that these days, indeed, since one crazy b*****d blew straight through a long net of mine one night i try to avoid them if i can!!But good luck!!!!!!...JD
Guest MADRA DUBH
last time i got on a horse it decided to climb a tree! i fell off! that was about ten years ago and ive never trusted the things since, so when i got invited riding by a friend the other day i was a bit nervous when she picked me up today! dont worry she said the horse you will be riding is twenty three years old and very slow and docile! so i got on it and off we plodded down the lane and then just after i took this picture she said "dont worry ill get him moving a bit faster for you" WHACK it didnt so much gallop as gallumph but it was still enough to crush my wedding veg against the saddle a few times before it slowed down! i enjoyed it so much im going again on friday! :11: :11: cheers hyperion Someone works for the RSPCA then going by the badge on the top.
