Foxgun Tom 75 Posted September 16, 2009 Report Share Posted September 16, 2009 (edited) Sophie my old and first ever GSP bitch had to be put to sleep this morning at the age of 14, and I'm devastated!!, to put old Sophie to sleep, is one of the hardest things I've ever done!! I've had to make this decision before in the past, but!! this time I feel as if a big part of me is missing I've lost a good friend and one of the best dogs ever!! Tom know how you feel mate had to get my old lab put to sleep earlier this year she was the same age as yours, was my 1st ever dog of my own had her half my life. was the single most difficult thing i have ever done its making me sad just typing this mate. i put "forever number 1" on her grave stone in my parents garden near to where she was kennelled all her life. i see her in her grand daughter every day and i think back to the days out with her on the solway after the geese.
