Need some advice.

I am quite new to this... I have now had my 2 jills for a year but both of their tails have gone nearly totally bald.

 

Is this just because they have come out of season? or what?

 

It would be great if anybody could help.

its called rat tail, more common in hobs, but have had jills with it too, It'll grow back

yea i had a jill that did that once or twice tended to be when she came out of season and it always grew back so nothing to worry about

I always give my ferrets who have rat tail a wash with a 50/50 saline and water solution.
