happy larry 3
flesh if you can get it, and if you cant get rabbit, squirrel etc, just get a pack of chicken wings only cost a couple of quid, but as your in ireland euro`s.A pack of wings should last 2 kitts 4/5 days but feed late evening to avoid flies. If any chicken remains un eaten in the morning remove it. Also give them a bit of complete say once a week then if there come a time when you cant get flesh, they will be used to dry food Edited September 14, 2009 by happy larry Quote Link to post
wwwaaron2 0
im not having a dig here but you should have asked the breeder what they had been fed on,ie dry food or flesh.if they are used to dry food then most bigger pet shops stock a ferret complete food. If they are used to flesh and you cant get rabbit, squirrel etc, just get a pack of chicken wings only cost a couple of quid, but as your in ireland euro`s.A pack of wings should last 2 kitts 5 days but feed late evening to avoid flies. If any chicken remains un eaten in the morning remove it the breeder feed them on dry food.i know that i just thought it would be easier for them to eat something softer.if ya know what i mean?? itchyscratchy 0
I use dry ferret food and it advises to soak it in a little water for kitts up to 16 weeks. Edited September 16, 2009 by itchyscratchy Quote Link to post

max abell 196
Flesh on the bone is best if available if not a good quality dry food is fine Quote Link to post
