It's probably a commentary on how peoples skills have changed - able to survive better in a familiar environment with identifiable sourced of food rather than fending in the wild. I hadn't thought about it before I wrote that and I don't mean this to be offensive, but there's an interesting parrallel with urbanisation of foxes. Someone could probably get a thesis out of that. Also i live opposite a far size woodland which has at least 4 people living rough in it, been there for a fair few years now as well. Fledge 0 Posted August 18, 2006 Report Share Posted August 18, 2006 There is one old guy i see maybie once or twice a year out in the country just walking the lane ive no idea where he's going or where from but he looks well wild defonotly not a town type tramp more like a hermit travaler type. My sister lives down in dorset by the coast you see a fair few of these old type tramps at this time of year some look like there 100 years old and been walking forever she said they come into town at sertain times of the year Quote Link to post Share on other sites
