Was Steam trains more important than your dog? honest vets will tell you that the kennel cough jag you refer to only covers the 2 most common strains and that theres so many other strains of kennel cough you couldnt posibly EFFECTIVELY protect your dog............. Hedge_hunter27 18 Posted September 15, 2009 Report Share Posted September 15, 2009 i use honey and lemon or benylyn to ease the cough ,its just like us having a cold and need a bit of molicuddling lol you shouldn't need antibiotics unless they get secondary infections Just out of curiosity, how do you administer the honey/lemon i.e. mix with their food, spoon full in their mouth, etc. I once boarded a dog and he didn’t catch kennel cough but he was carrying it and gave it to my other dog that hadn't been kennelled and they had both been vaccinated at the vets .
