So anyway; Now that numerous locals have seen and taken photo's of the thing whilst the government bodies refuse point blank to even go and see it - and there happened to be no passing local copper ....? Putting all that ~ and the fact that that things eye looks so 'alive' as to smack of a modern Taxidermists acrylic one ... and that vultures 'picked it clean', even before the nearest Taxidermist - in a country top heavy with Taxidermsits - got there and spirited it away to mount up and display, thus drawing loads of revenue to his business. (Did anyone mention there was a strong, Bovine smell about the creature?) And now not a single hair will be available for proper, DNA analysis ..... Has anyone yet found some fuller, clearer and better photo's of that thing?

Only I'd be curious to get a better look. We all know how crisp our every day digital cameras are. Surely someone must have got detailed shots, before it was " Picked completly clean by vultures. " :whistle:

Thanks for that, Swamper :good:

Now, if you'll excuse me, I've just swung that shot round, so we can get a proper look at it:

:rolleyes: Looks like a small to medium sized, mongrel mutt, to me. Someone's lap dog, struck by a motor whilst " Chasing a cat. " - as mutts will do :whistle:

" Hyeana / Panther Hybrid " :rofl::rofl::rofl:

what's with them teeth ?

Errrrr ..... Nothing? :unsure: Honestly, mate, I'm not trying to force an issue or point score here. I'm actually perfectly happy that we Do have Cats, in the british countryside, which ye won't find in the Observers books. But I came to that conclusion by way of cold bloodedly examining evidance such as was laid before me. Now I've sat and 'clinically' examined those shots.

The size is, frankly, rather pathetic. A small fox is about the same, judging by the moss there and the rest of the vegetation. It's body's long. Legs rather short. It has a high domed forehead and short muzzle. That speaks of a type of lap dog I just can't put my finger on right now, because I'm not overly up on such breeds. But Pommeranian smacks of a close one. No?

Regards the teeth? What about them ? Seriously. We have people saying they were long and curved? What, same people who suggested it was a wolf hybrid (you ever seen the HUGE size of a real wolf?!) or a Hyeana / Panther cross? Might it be better we dismiss their talk, out of hand, and focus on what we have in front of us?

All we can see are tiny bits of its teeth. The lips cover most or them. The lips give the impression that what we see are short, square topped things. I just looked at one of my own dogs teeth. Same effect.

Imagine that thing up on its feet and moving: Hardly conjures up an image of a svelt musculatured super predator, does it? Something capable of attacking and killing a Rottweiler?

No. It's Only my own personal take on what I'm seeing there. But, to me, it just looks like a little mutt.
