zini 1,939
No problems lads. It was a real pleasure having you all up and down depending which part of the country you came from. Id just like to add that Festa, Marksman, Wuzzy and Reggeaman are top blokes and a real credit to this forum and the shooting community. You are all welcome to come back and shoot with me again. Wuzzy you know them 2 rabbits that we saw sat together on that grass under the road light just before you said goodbye? I went back and shot them both with the Storm. I found one and gave it to Festa just before he left but couldnt for the life of me see the other one without the lamp. So thinking about it with your 2 in the boot plus my 2 plus the other sqirrel that Reggeaman got we had 14 rabbits and 3 squirrels. Next time we will have to lamp when it gets dark. With 5 guns i think you are looking at that bag being 3 to 4 times bigger on a night when the bunnies are out. I also moved 2 of my squirrel traps to that new place under that tree where we saw them 2 on the floor eating and 1 in the tree. Hopefully tomorrow when i check them ill have a couple. 9 ive had now with the 3 you lads got yesterday in about 8 days. My mark 4 fenn traps also came today through the post and ive made their bait boxes tonight after work, so they will be going up tomorrow too. Keep your fingers crossed for me Barny the game keeper will be happy especially when i tell him about what Zin the terrier dispatched Regards Zini. festa 206
good bag! how well did that pro sport shoot off bipod? i just use the bipod as a stand mate keep the gun off the ground ... i have tried it in the past if i zero with the bipod i need to use the bipod all the time cos as soon as you try a shot without it it misses every time and its the same the other way around zero from prone or kneeling then shoot with the bipod and you miss gary Edited September 15, 2009 by festa Quote Link to post

Marksman 934
Definately a good day. Permissions are hard enough to come by as it is after losing all mine last year and giving up hunting it's people like Zini sharing what they have that restores my faith in the hunting community Roll on the winter when the vegetation drops Quote Link to post

zini 1,939
Hi all regards from me. Wuzzy and Reggeaman ive been into the stores today at work as i promised on Sunday and got you both some combat 95 bottoms, combat 95 shirts and combat 95 jackets. They are all in very good condition. I'm just washing them at the moment for you both ready for when you come up again to shoot with me Marksman and Festa "hopefully very soon". I also got you Wuzzy a jungle hat as you said you wanted one. Ive also asked my store person to save you some size 7 combat boots. If you give me your size Reggeaman ill get you some as well. Ive just been to the gun shop in Richmond to look at my new gun that im getting in 2 weeks time. Ive gone for a new BSA R10 mark 2 now that the problems have mostly been sorted out with them and ive added a SAK second stage silencer on it. I test fired it in the shop with the SAK added and its the quietest gun ive ever heard. Im going to stick my bipod onto it too for prone shooting. Ive opted for a .177 calibre version which if truth be told is my favourite calibre. Ill be putting a update on here when i get it of how it does. Hopefully ill get a good one fingers crossed and it accounts for many tree rats and bunnies. Zini Quote Link to post
