Guest lurchers&terriers
iv seen and owned many of these types of lurchers and i must say iv not had a crap one. Theres lots of them about doing there job but you dont see them on here. alot of lurcher folk look down there noses at them. its just snobbery in my eyes and it makes a lot of people scared to put pics of there bitza lurchers. come on theres got to be some on here lets see some pics. Guest jt750
Put the best to the best and hope for the best is the way to do it. EG saluki/bull/collie/greyx beddie/deerhound/collie/jrt/grey is a lurcher (bitza for you) Is the %age important in the cross ..IMO is it b0llocks ..if the parents can do it then there's a good chance the youngsters will do it if entered properly. Yes i know there's horses for courses and some dogs handle different terrain better than others ..no point in running beddie/whippet against saluki on the fens..also no point in running a saluki against beddie/whippet in small meadows and rough scrub because they are no contests. Litter mates are different too ..some end up racey some end up plodders some end up pets ..best example to prove this is the 5/8 3/8 bull cross ...some look and are real pacey animals and some are more like half cross bigger stronger not as pacey Quote Link to post

Catcher 1 I agreed with you i took the bull example because most here (i would imagine) would know a 5/8 3/8 bullx ...i love the coliiex and my previous hound was a 5/8 3/8 colliex (hancocks beardie/border) and he wasn't a racey type TBH more like a sheep but did what i wanted of him and often more Quote Link to post
